early Low poly - without instances and alphas cards
Here is my interpretation on the watercolor and Indian ink painting "Crown", from Olivier Menanteau (@moon_mxtr).
My main concern was about keeping a clean topology, every main mesh is deformation ready, for the tiny details I mainly tried to keep them the most low poly as possible. For the grass, some rocks and mushrooms, I use scattering and weight painting so they are mainly instances. I modeled it in Maya and Blender then textured it in Substance Painter and rendered passes in Blender. Finally composited in Resolve, a usual workflow.
